KSI’s first fight in three years may be in jeopardy as rumors circulate online that his opponent Alex Wasabi has sustained an injury.
DramaAlert host, Kim Starreported that Wassabi suffered an unknown injury just weeks before the fight between Youtuber and KSI began on August 27.
Alex Wasabi’s injury rumor
The Wassabi musician is set to fight later this month, however, Keemstar stated that he had heard from sources “close to the Wassabi camp” that the YouTuber was infected.
Kim Starr tweeted, “Ladies and gentlemen, this is breaking news, and my boy is injured. Now, I heard two different injuries, I heard a concussion, I heard a broken hand, it’s coming from a source close to Wasabi Camp.”
I have another source close to the wasabi camp like, This is what’s going on right now. I’ve double checked, crossed my letter, and I’m dotting on this, my boy is injured and there’s now fear he won’t fight KSI on August 27th.”
Kimstar added that he had no news of the cancellation of Wassabi and “confirmed” that even the fight will not be canceled and Wassabi will be replaced.
“Canceled? No, I can tell you for the fact that the event will not be canceled even though I’ve been talking to Missfit Boxing for months, and just last week with a blue face out, Missfit Boxing always said if someone pulled out of the fight they made it clear, “So I don’t think On August 27, he has no chance of canceling, but there is a possibility that we won’t see Alex Wasabi.”
However, neither Wasabi nor KSI confirmed the veracity of any of these rumors.
KSI shows body transformation
This will be KSI’s first fight since 2019, so he’s not interfering with training to prepare himself. KSI proudly showed off his incredible muscles and showed fans the physical transformation he’s undergone since he started preparing for the fight.
KSI – real name Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji – shared a video on Instagram – after he was allegedly not allowed to share it with TikTok – showing his transformation from January 1 to August 1, this year, and celebrating the amazing change he has undergone.
In the first part of the video, KSI looks good, but with a slightly larger physique, then the video clicks on the August clip and KSI is trimmed straight down with an incredibly toned body, complete with a six-pack.
HITC has contacted Wassabi representatives for comment.
