It’s an intriguing and fascinating hypothesis and La Brea has explored it with sincere dedication, refusing to shy away from the monstrous opportunities that the hypothesis facilitates.
Created and executive produced by David Appelbaum, the American drama premiered on NBC in September 2021 and was recently treated to UK audiences on Paramount+. Needless to say, interest has returned to the series and high hopes for its continuation.

How many episodes will there be?
The second season of La Brea will consist of 14 episodes in total.
The first season was only ten episodes long, so the audience would get more from the second round.
As long as there is no table-breaking gap, season two should end on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
“Really, it probably lasts a few seasons.”
When speaking to Collider, the show’s creator was asked if they had a number of seasons in mind:
“We’ve had a lot of time to sit and think and think about where the show is going to go. So we have a lot of big plans for what we want to do in future seasons… It has an interesting cast of characters who have their own stories. It’s also a world with a lot of puzzles that unfold.
He added, “Once you solve a mystery, another one opens up. We think it’s really likely to last for multiple seasons. But as far as X number of seasons, it’s not something we’ve tried to pin ourselves on.”
