“I’ve never really thought of this type in particular”
Speaking to Collider, central star Natalie Zia (who plays Eve Harris) admitted she wasn’t 100% about taking on the project initially:
“It wasn’t instant, yeah. I never really thought about that particular type, or that kind of female action hero. I thought, after The Detour, I’d keep doing comedy and I was going to retire in the ’90s, for being kind of a distiller,” he pointed out. My husband told me that there was a limited window to work…”
He said he didn’t want her to feel as though she had missed her, which encouraged her to take an important career leap.
“I did,” she explained. “And I ended up in Australia for six months doing a lot of running and jumping and making great friends with my co-stars.”
