N64, SNES & Wii Mario Kart 8 Tracks Confirmed For Wave 2 DLC

New tracks are coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxes as part of Wave 2 DLC arriving next month.

This will include tracks from the game’s N64, GBA, Wii, and Super NES eras, as well as a new track inspired by the mobile vulnerability.

All the new details were shared today by Nintendo after months of waiting for the new wave of tracks to be confirmed.

As revealed by NintendoTracks from various will be heading to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of Wave 2 DLC.

The official release date for the new Booster Pack tournaments is set for August 4, and it will be open to players with a paid membership of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack or by purchasing the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass available at the Nintendo eShop or my Nintendo Store.

A total of eight new courses and two new cups will be available as part of the Wave 2 launch, with the following tracks confirmed:

New York Minute Tour – Fly away from the towering skyscrapers and enjoy a scenic drive through the park on this Big Apple-inspired course that originated from the mobile game Mario Kart Tour.

SNES Mario Circuit 3 Blast your way around tight corners and avoid warp tubes in this classic course originating from Super Mario Kart on the Super NES.

N64 Calamari Desert – This desert race features frequent rounds with an old-fashioned steam locomotive crossing the track – be careful not to cause any delays.

DS Waluigi Pinball – Shoot, bump and weave across this giant pinball table-themed course, complete with colorful lights and sounds. Just try not to lean.

Fan Cup
Sydney Sprint Tour – Soar in the sun as you soar over the bay and cruise around the sights on this course originating from the Mario Kart Tour.

GBA: Snow Land Try not to slip and slide in this winter Mario Kart: Super Circuit. Just remember: refrigerant heads will prevail.

Wii Mushroom Gorge – This course has an underground cavern, deep crevices and giant mushrooms sprouting from them – make sure you land safely.

Sky-High Sundae The competition may be fierce, but that doesn’t mean you can’t relax in this sweet race, filled with larger-than-life sweets at nearly every turn. Prove that you are number one under the sun (DAI) in this first course.
