Rebelde is back on Netflix for a second season, just six months after the show debuted in January 2022.
Since most of the fans have already watched Season 2, the demand for Season 3 has begun, and we reveal what fans are saying.
The Mexican series is directed by Santiago Limon and is based on the telenovela of the same name, which in turn is a remake of the Argentine telenovela, Rebelde Way. It comes after the early years at Elite Way School as the secret society, The Lodge, attempts to destroy their musical dreams.

Rebelde fans demand a third season for Endi
It was Rebelde fandom’s investment in characters that lit up the show’s second season, and the same enthusiasm appears for the third wave.
Many fans have commented on Andi and Emilia’s relationship in Season 2 and how Season 3 should give them a happy ending.
One fan even threatened to deactivate his Netflix membership if Season 3 didn’t give Endi some relief:
Rebelde season 3 is rumored to be in development
Back in April of this year, Techstry reported that a second and third season is rumored to be in development, but Netflix has only proceeded to green-light the second season.
At this point in time, Netflix has yet to announce whether or not Season 3 will go ahead, but the platform will now likely wait until two weeks or months after the second season premieres to see how fair the ratings are for this season.
Given the original TV series Rebelde Way that only ran for two seasons, it’s hard to say whether the Netflix adaptation will return for a third wave. However, there is definitely a demand for it from within the fan base.

The second season of Rebelde has eight episodes to offer this time around, matching the number of episodes of season one on Netflix.
Each episode lasts between 38-47 minutes, and all episodes of the second season dropped on July 27, 2022.
