After a painful year-long wait, Never Have I Ever is finally preparing for its highly anticipated return to Netflix.
On July 27, the first new season 3 trailer was released online, hinting at the plot of the new season and revealing that Davey’s burgeoning romance with Paxton may face complications.

Dropping a trailer never happened to me in season 3
The first trailer for Season 3, Never Have I Ever, arrived online on July 27, 2022.
After the events of Season 2, the new chapter sees American-Indian teenager Davy in a strong relationship with Paxton Hall-Yoshida together, the pair being the talk of the school.
However, Davy still feels like she’s missing something in her life and doubts are starting to creep into her relationship with Paxton and whether they really should be together.
Things get further complicated by the arrival of a new baby on the premises, and despite being told he’s just an idiot, this new Indian guy turns out to be a handsome hunk and a potential fourth element in the current love I’ve never had. Triangle (it’s better to make it square now).
Season 3 release date confirmed
Season 3 of Never Have I Ever will be released on Netflix on Friday, August 12, 2022.
The confirmed release date means fans have had to wait 13 months since the second season arrived, but that’s less time than they had to wait around 15 months between seasons 1 and 2.
After the second season was released on July 15, 2021, it took just over a month for Netflix to confirm the show’s fate as the third season was announced on August 19, 2021.
The renewal highlights Netflix’s confidence in the teen comedy series that has won so much praise for its representation in South Asia and has broken many stereotypes in the process.
Season 4 is on its way too
That’s right, in addition to renewing the third season of Never Have I Ever, Netflix has also confirmed that the series has received the green light for a fourth season.
An early renewal announcement came in March 2022 and confirmed that a fourth season would arrive in 2023.
However, the announcement also came with some bad news for Never Have I Ever fans, as Season 4 was also confirmed to be the final installment of the series.
But while there is an end point looming, we can expect more twists and turns to come for Davey and her lovable group of friends.
