Destiny 2 players will be looking for Xur again today in one of the few map locations he can publish, with a shortlist of locations including EDZ, Nessus, and The Tower.
There will only be a handful of Xur visits during the current season, with the next major update confirmed in August.
And while Xur isn’t expected to undergo many changes, there’s a chance he’ll replace some of his routine loot with exotic ones.

Where is Xur today in Destiny 2?
It won’t be worth checking out Xur until 6PM BST on Friday, July 29, which is the time and date when the elusive merchant will return to Destiny 2. And while Bungie won’t reveal where he is, Guardians have become a great machine when it comes to tracking his exact location, So it will be up to fans to uncover his current hideout and share it online with their fellow fighters.
For North American players, that means waiting until 10AM PT before hunting for Xur, and as usual, he’ll arrive with a new set of weapons, armor, and legendary gear.
Last week, Xur was selling these exotics for sale in regular currency: Queenbreaker Heavy Linear Fusion Rifle, Hawkmoon Kinetic Hand Cannon, Dead Man’s Tale Kinetic Scout Rifle, Knucklehead Radar Hunter Helmet, Armamentarium Titan Chest Armor, and Starfire Protocol.
There were also these legendary weapons: Squadron of Raven Heavy Grenade Launcher, True Prophecy Kinetic Hand Cannon, Heavy Falling Sword Pistol, Natural Beast Energy Hand Cannon, Far Future Energy Sniper Rifle, Sojourner’s Tale Energy Gun, and Vulpecula.
