As for what to expect, the title refers to Honor (played by Angourie Rice), an ambitious high school senior who is desperately determined to enter the prestigious Ivy League college. However, before you land somewhere, you need to get a recommendation from Mr. Calvin (Christopher Mintz Place), her guidance counselor.
It won’t be easy, so she makes a plan to sabotage the competition. Since the sub-genre tends to show off, all the characters will learn something important about themselves in the process or pursuit of what they want.

“It was a really different feeling”
Gaten Matarazzo recently sat down with Screenrant and was asked if he’s always wanted to do a project like the Honor Society or if it’s a recent drive:
“I think I’d love to take on anything new. It seemed like a really fun opportunity. What’s interesting is that Dustin is a comedic-driven character on a project that isn’t comedy-driven. And I think Michael is a character that’s not necessarily driven so much by his talent for comedic timing, in a comedy-driven movie.” “”.
He added, “It was a really different feeling, trying to match these undertones. Because you’re trying to get something back when the people around you put the comedy back on. I’m used to doing it. [the opposite] on Stranger Things, so that was really interesting.”
