UTAG to withdraw all services and close down schools on Monday

Teaching, research, and community service are the mandates of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG). As a result, the Ghanaian University Teachers Association only retained the teaching component and provided the remaining two activities, namely research and community service.

Due to that, UTAG threatens the government that, if their demands are not met, they are likely to withdraw the remaining services. This implies that schools will not operate should the remaining services will be withdrawn.

Students, on the other hand, only have a week to complete their end-of-semester exams. Almost all students are unsure what to do next as a result of this.
